- Can I pick up the furniture myself?
If you prefer to pick your purchase up yourself, please remember that our furniture does not come in a shipping carton. We recommend you bring suitable packing materials to protect your new piece, and a vehicle and straps to secure the load during travel. Any damage done to items self-shipped will be the responsibility of the buyer/shipper. |
- Can the furniture be delivered?
The Gigglin' Pig can deliver your purchase via our trucks, within a 100 mile radius. |
- Can the furniture be shipped?
For customers outside of a 100 mile radius from our store, we can ship via common carrier (Yellow Freight, Mayflower, etc.) for either curb-side or in-home delivery. For details and a free shipping quote, please call us at 1-800-649-2830. |
- Can you custom stain a piece of furniture?
Customs staining is available on a limited number of our products. Please feel free to call our toll free number for complete details. You may also refer to ”Finish Choices” within our website. |
- How can I identify a solid board?
Solid Boards can always be identified by following a seam to the end, where you will find the “end” grain. Many veneers are glued over the edges to look like solid wood. They will always be faced on the end and show no end grain. |
- How do I care for my furniture?
We recommend that your furniture be kept away from direct sun light, and other heat sources such as radiators, hot air outlets, and wood stoves. These conditions cause drying out and will result in splitting. |
- How do I clean my piece of furniture?
Our recommendation is to use a damp cloth to clean your furniture. Never use silicone based product or wax polish. We recommend using a lemon oil polish on oak, cherry, maple, or hickory. This product is available through us. If you would like more information, please cal our toll free number. |
